Combined, our inpatient and outpatient divisions’ 125 experienced staff handle more than 160,000 patient visits each year.

Dean Zaneteas, DPT, MS, Clinic Director

Dean Zaneteas is clinic manager at Park Slope and pediatric program director.

He received his Bachelor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of New England and his Master’s degree in Exercise Science and Motor Control from Indiana University.

He is a Certified Clinical Instructor with the American Physical Therapy Association. He is also a Certified National Instructor in the World Martial Arts Association, WMAA and 7th Degree Master in Tae Kwon Do.

He is currently working on Shroth Certification in Scoliosis Treatment.

Dean is specially trained to treat a variety of diagnosis including developmental conditions and birth-related injuries (e.g. torticollis), Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, general conditioning and fitness, spinal deformities (e.g. scoliosis), sports-related injuries, postural retraining and trauma.

He has a special interest in applying yoga/karate in the treatment of “mechanical” back pain.

“I entered Physical Therapy because I wanted to work with people and their movement problems,” he says.

When Dean is not working, he can be found teaching karate, practicing yoga and running and biking.


Shreya Ghiya, PT, MS (Kinesiology)

Shreya Ghiya, PT, MS (Kinesiology) says she was always interested in natural medicine as a means of treatment for any physical or mental illness.

“For that reason, I decided to pursue a career in Physical Therapy where physical movement or exercise is at the core to address various ailments,” she says.

Shreya took her Bachelor’s in Physical Therapy from Sardar Patel University in India, graduating in 2009. She acquired a Master of Science (Kinesiology) degree with a concentration in Exercise Science from San Francisco State University, graduating in 2011.

Her publications include a study called Influence of alternate nostril breathing on heart rate variability in non-practitioners of yogic breathing with Lee c. Matthew and published in the International Journal of Yoga, 2012, Volume 5.

Her certifications include Parkinson’s Disease: Practical Tools for Rehab Management; Dynamic Taping by Ryan Kendrick (Australian Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist), New York, Maitland’s Clinical Reasoning and Manual Therapy, Principles of Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, Basic Principles of Assessment on Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation, and Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation in General Orthopedics and Arthroplasty.

She acquired experience working at a foot clinic in New York and private pediatric clinics, an orthopedic outpatient clinic, and inpatient rehabilitation as an intern.

One of Shreya’s strengths is her ability to connect well with patients of all ages, from pediatric torticollis treatment to adolescent postural training to gait training in geriatrics.

When she is not working she enjoys many different activities that the vibrant City of New York has to offer. That includes taking a class of Capoeira or Jiu jitsu, doing Yoga or rock climbing, or just walking on the streets of Manhattan.


Max Santiago, PTA

Former athlete Tanya Kaloustian used her interest in sports and how the body mends to trigger a career as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

She graduated from La Guardia Community College, Long Island City, NY, as a Physical Therapist Assistant, and also attended medical college in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, where she achieved her training as a rehabilitation therapist.

Her certifications include Comprehensive Manual Therapy Approach for Shoulder-Elbow-Hand Pathology; Myofascial, Trigger Point and Proprioceptive Therapy.

She gained experience working in outpatient clinics and now works as an adult outpatient clinician.

When she is not working she enjoys travelling, cooking, hiking, walking her dog and bicycling.


Jeremy Abramson MSPT, CMPT

Jeremy received his Bachelor's Degree in Health Studies and his Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from Boston University.

Jeremy traveled throughout United States specializing in orthopedics. His current certification in manual therapy allows him to perform spinal/peripheral joint manipulation.

Jeremy chose Physical Therapy in high school as he had a fascination learning about the human body.

His hobbies include weightlifting, boxing, kickboxing.


Elliot Stroh, OTR/L

Elliot Stroh, OTR/L, graduated with a master of science from Long Island University in Brooklyn, New York. Elliot has an innate desire to help people improve their daily life and functioning, which is why he chose this field. He also grew up with a cousin who has cerebral palsy and constantly saw therapists working and making a difference in his cousin's life.

Elliot gained a wide range of experience through his various field work placements. He has treated pediatrics in schools and clinics, adults in rehab centers and hospitals, and has worked with people who have mental health challenges at Bellevue Hospital. He is also constantly reading to increase his knowledge of OT.

When he is not working, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three young children.
